DAY IN THE LIFE VIDEOS
A Day in the Life video paints a full and balanced picture of a typical day in an injured person’s life. It accurately documents the activities of daily living, as well as occupational, mobility, and recreational activities. Our goal is to engage independent viewers so they understand the life of an injured person and the impact of the injury on loved ones.
Each client’s injury is different and our films are tailored to capture scenes that will effectively demonstrate the uniqueness of each client to a jury.
We record the client’s activities over a one or two day period and edit them into a compelling 15 - 30 minute film.
Our films are structured to be evidence admissible. We actively avoid situations that can provide the basis for an objection. Although we have never had a Day in the Life video excluded, admissibility is not guaranteed.
Following a review of the life care plan and selected medical records, we interview the client and/or the client’s family by phone or in person. This helps us understand the client’s physical and psychological health, daily activities, and human surroundings. We respect and value their privacy.
