TRIBUTE
BIOGRAPHIES
A Tribute film is a visual biography
of a deceased person whose family is pursuing a wrongful death suit.
Supported by video and still photographs from the person’s life,
the tribute is based upon interviews with family members, friends, co-workers,
neighbors, clergy, and healthcare professionals.
Typically, between 20 and 25 minutes in length, the Tribute film is
a powerful settlement tool. It tells a very personal story and highlights
the quality of the individual who can no longer work, support family
members, and contribute to the community.
Although it is not designed to be evidence admissible, it is often used
during mediations. This tool is especially useful for enhancing the
hidden value of a case by revealing the client’s special attributes
to your opponents.
We
currently cannot post examples of Tribute Films due to confidentiality
agreements with our clients. Yet, we hope to do so in the near future.
